| DC*Suite for District e-Governance |
DC*Suite is an integrated suite of
applications for the Collectorate based on an integrated solution architecture
covering all functional areas and activities of the Collectorate. It is
a web enabled solution built on industry standard software technologies
and best practices. The Software, Hardware and Communication Architecture
facilitates cross platform applications and application integration. |
There are twenty functional
areas identified including Workflow based File Management System, Public
Grievances Monitoring System, and Revenue Recovery Management etc for
computerisation. In addition, there will be add-on optional modules for
Knowledge Management, District Portals etc. Public Access, Transparent
Administration and Service Delivery are the key features of the project
and these services will be made available using District Portals as web
Services. |
| Inaugration |
The DC*Suite project was inaugrated
by the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Kerala Shri. Ommen Chandy on 26th October
2004. It was presided by Shri. K. Sankaranarayanan ,MLA in the presence
of the District Collector Shri. Sanjeev Kaushik, IAS , Deputy Director
General(NIC) Shri. A.Mohan, State Informatics Office Shri.V.S.Raghunathan. |
